The model is a Qing Dynasty gold and silverware censer embellished with overglaze. It features a dragon pattern on the foot, a phoenix head on both ears, an alum red motif that represents clouds, and a turquoise green base. This censer was made by hand; to give it the appearance of three dimensions, the cloud pattern was first carved and then painted. The hand-carved lid is made from purple sandalwood.
