The censer is based on literati paintings from the Ming Dynasty. Ceramic, followed by a glaze applied by hand. The painted design is the sea wave cherry blossom pattern, which symbolizes an endless sea of benefits and was a popular auspicious design during the Ming Dynasty. Solid purple sandalwood is used to carve the lid and base, while Shoushan stone is used to hand-carve the lid knob. Makes incense seals, disc incense, and incense sticks.
